A ‘voice’ has two parts, the sound and the substance. Zoe Ryan uses both. A storyteller from a distant place, where our yesterdays and tomorrows somehow meet. Prepare to witness a beacon of hope and truth, an offering that is both pure and timeless.
Writing about the world we have known, the world that could be and our internal struggles, Zoe Ryan is among those who aim to rewrite the future and inspire hope back into all who have lost it.
In concert, expect to be greeted by a warm and gentle presence, the result of many years weathering the landscape of Australia which the Performing Songwriter and Artist has extensively covered.
Having recently supported Mama Kin Spender and appeared on Festival bills alongside Mark Seymour, Katie Noonan, Ash Grunwald and more, the emerging Songwriter is one to watch, having been selected as a finalist in both Telstra Road to Discovery and South by Southbound competitions. The travelling Artist is also independently winning over audiences nationwide at local breweries, pubs, bars, yards, lounge rooms and on the street.
